Playing The Game of Life is a fun way to simulate life’s major decisions and milestones. Here’s a quick guide to get you started:
Setup:
Assemble the game board and attach any buildings, mountains, and the spinner.
Separate the cards into decks: Career, College Career, House, Action, and Pet.
Each player chooses a car and places a peg in it to represent themselves.
Starting the Game:
Decide whether to start with a career or go to college. College can lead to higher salaries but takes longer to start earning.
Spin the spinner to determine who goes first.
Gameplay:
On your turn, spin the spinner and move your car the number of spaces indicated.
Follow the instructions on the space you land on. This could involve drawing a card, paying or receiving money, or making a life decision like getting married or buying a house.
Players can take out loans if they need extra money.
Life Events:
As you move along the board, you’ll encounter various life events such as getting a job, having children, buying a house, and more.
Some spaces require you to make choices that can affect your financial status.
Retirement:
The game ends when all players reach the retirement space. Players then sell their houses, pay off any loans, and count their money.
The player with the most money at the end wins the game.
